Hotel dEgypt

Hotel d’Egypt was constructed in the 19th century across Pasaport and adjacent to the Grand Hotel de Londres. Rooms were located on the upper floors and the passage through the building led to 2nd Kordon Avenue. The shops on either side of the passage were used as restaurants, small shops, and barber shops at different times. The building survived the 1922 fire and in the following years, the front facade was integrated into a new multi-story building that was constructed in its place.
